Martin J. Leavitt
Martin J. Leavitt is a principal at the Law Offices of Sullivan and Leavitt, P.C., one of Michigan's premier small law firms. Mr. Leavitt has been employed with the Firm since 1968.
Mr. Leavitt handles a wide range of business related matters throughout the State of Michigan and has litigated cases in State and Federal Courts throughout the country, including Michigan Courts at the trial and appellate levels; Federal District Courts in Michigan, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Colorado, and Iowa; U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Sixth, Seventh, and D.C. Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. In addition, he has advocated matters for clients before mediators and arbitrators.
Michael Leavitt
Michael J. Leavitt focuses his practice on the representation of transportation carriers, forwarders, logistic companies, regulatory compliance, transportation contract review, owner/operator leasing arrangements, general civil litigation, corporate formations, collections, estate planning, ERISA claims, and family law.
Michael J. Leavitt counsels clients in a wide array of transportation related issues, corporate issues, contract analysis, commercial litigation, estate law, probate administration, and family law matters. Mr. Leavitt is an experienced litigator who has tried numerous civil and criminal cases throughout Michigan and federal courts including state and federal appellate courts.
George L. Howell
George L. Howell is an associate at the Law Offices of Sullivan and Leavitt, PC. George comes to us with a wide range of experience and education that benefit his clients. Before attending law school, George was a police officer, which gives him a thorough understanding of the Fourth Amendment and police practices and procedures. After law school, George clerked for Justice Michael F. Cavanagh at the Michigan Supreme Court, gaining unique insights into appellate practice and the shape and direction of Michigan law.
